The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Colombo has a vacancy for a Cleaner starting 1^st of March.

Description

As part of the cleaning team of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, your task will be cleaning the Embassy’s premises and supporting the technical team with logistical assistance.

The working hours consist of 37,5 hours weekly. The first year of employment will be on basis of a fixed-term contract which can become permanent in case of excellent performance.

Qualifications/Ideal Candidate’s Profile

• Good knowledge of English
• Work experience / vocational training as a cleaner
• Open, friendly and social attitude
• Willingness to work on Saturdays occasionally
• Ability to work as accessible and constructive member of an international team
• Sri Lankan citizen or valid work permit for Sri Lanka

The contractual conditions and salary are based on the model employment contract for local employees and the salary scheme of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Colombo.
